You're a sky full of stars

 You're a sky full of stars ⁣:

Our @NASAHubble, @NASAChandraXray and Spitzer Space Telescopes joined forces in 2009 to capture this dazzling view of the heart of our Milky Way galaxy.⁣

Hubble's contributions in visible light, shown here in gold, show off large arcs of warm gas, heated by nearby massive stars. Hubble uncovered many massive stars across the region; these stars lead to wind and radiation that create complex structures of gas. ⁣

X-rays exposed by Chandra, shown here in blue and pink, come from high-energy features and other unique objects. The pink represents lower energy and the blue represents higher energy. The small dots show a release of material from black holes, with a supermassive black hole in the lower right of the image. ⁣

Infrared light from Spitzer, seen here in red, shows us a detailed view of the galactic center which hosts hundreds of thousands of stars. Some of the dusty clouds that glow in infrared might even host stellar nurseries that form new generations of stars, which would not be seen in visible light. ⁣

Image description: Swirling colors of red, orange, yellow, gold, pink, and blue dominate this image. At the middle-bottom-right of the photo, the core of our galaxy shines bright. Interstellar dust and radiation combine to create a brilliant tapestry backed by the blackness of space.⁣
