Galactic Myriad
Galactic Myriad :
@NASAHubble’s Ultra Deep Field view shows nearly 10,000 galaxies deep in the core of our universe. What would be a largely empty patch of sky to ground-based observatories, Hubble’s long exposure sees galaxies of all ages, shapes, and sizes from the early times of our universe.
The smallest red galaxies may have existed when the universe was just 800 million years old, comparatively ancient to the elliptical and spiral galaxies, which flourished about 1 billion years ago. Galaxies interact, with gravitational fields twisting and turning their shapes, remnants of the universe’s chaotic youth.
Image description: Galaxies dot the blackness of space in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Blue and Green correspond to colors seen by the human eye. Red represents near-infrared light, inviable to the human eye.
