Science and snacks in space, oh my!
The uncrewed Cygnus cargo spacecraft launched atop a @SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 12:07 p.m. EST (1707 UTC) from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
@NorthropGrumman's Cygnus capsule is carrying more than 8,200 lbs (3,720 kgs) of NASA science investigations and cargo to the @ISS to support dozens of research experiments, including:
-3D-printing metal parts
-remote-controlled surgical robot
-ice cream for our @NASAAstronauts
This is Northrop Grumman’s 20th cargo flight to the orbiting laboratory.
