HERE COMES THE SUN

 

  Here comes the Sun⁣:

About 260 miles (418 km) above the Earth’s surface, NASA astronaut @AstroJaws catches a glimpse of the annular solar eclipse from aboard the @ISS. The crew aboard the orbiting laboratory gets unique views of Earth and celestial objects like the Sun and Moon as they spin through the solar system.⁣

Astronauts on the International Space Station help us understand the long-term effects of living in low gravity, allowing scientists and engineers to better prepare for future astronauts living on and near the Moon and, eventually, on to Mars.⁣
