HERE COMES THE SUN
Here comes the Sun:
About 260 miles (418 km) above the Earth’s surface, NASA astronaut @AstroJaws catches a glimpse of the annular solar eclipse from aboard the @ISS. The crew aboard the orbiting laboratory gets unique views of Earth and celestial objects like the Sun and Moon as they spin through the solar system.
Astronauts on the International Space Station help us understand the long-term effects of living in low gravity, allowing scientists and engineers to better prepare for future astronauts living on and near the Moon and, eventually, on to Mars.
